Juneteenth
Celebrates the emancipation of enslaved people in the United States, specifically in Texas. It marks the day in 1865 when Union troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, and informed enslaved people that they were free, which was two years after President Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation.

First Day of Summer
Please make sure your child has a hat at school to wear during our outside time.

Father's Day Activities
Each classroom will have different activities/crafts for fathers on June 13th and will share more information about it through Liliio or during conferences.




Multicultural Event
Each classroom will decorate their class with a country theme. On February 28th we invite families to come and join their child at 3pm to enjoy visuals ,foods and many more activities that pertain to a country. Buzy Bees-Venezuela, Lighting Bugs-Tawain, Lucidos-Colombia, Grillos-Brazil, Orugas-Africa, Kitchen- Mexico, Administration-USA. During this time families will have the opportunity to walk into other classes and vote anonymously for their favorite. Great way to connect with other families.The winner class will have a Chinese food party in March. Families or caregivers that have roots, traditions or are from the above countries we value your input. let us know your suggestions.





Valentine's Breakfast
Our school will be hosting a Valentines Breakfast 8am-8:45am. Families, caregivers are welcome to come and join children for breakfast. Please RSVP for this event. Each classroom will send information individually with more details of how they will be celebrating the rest of Valentines.

Mexican Independence Day
To celebrate the Mexican Independence everyone is welcome to wear something that represents Mexico for you. NO UNIFORM REQUIRED ON THIS DAY.
Grandparents Day
LEA is honored to have all of our grandparents join us for lunch on September 6th at 11:00am. Teachers will be sending more details about this during the week.
